Dura2: the latest timber product on the market
Dura2 is a new product to the fencing industry that uses improved treatment processes to maximise protection for long lasting fencing. Treated multiple times with Tanalith E high-pressure wood preservative alongside controlled drying processes, Dura2 offers customers longer guarantees (up to 20 years) on their timber fencing.
Treatment Process
The Dura2 timber treatment technique begins with the timber selection. The slow-growing dry pine is carefully selected from sustainable sources and then dried in a controlled process. It is treated multiple times with Tanalith under regulated conditions. It is then saturated with the enhanced treatment agent up to saturation point. Following the initial treatment, the timber is thoroughly dried before being retreated. This twofold technique ensures the best effective protection and the longest-lasting treated softwood timber for a low maintenance fence.
